We have a strong commitment to the on-going professional development of each of our employees, and the opportunities made available by the Employee Education and Professional Development Department are an important resource in our efforts to effectively meet our collective mission.

You will find our calendar of internal seminars and workshops planned for throughout the year, including new hire orientation, SCIP-R, CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration (AMAP), supervisor's training, the colloquium series and our organizational development series. Also, please note that beyond the specific areas within this page, each department also provides additional specialized training for its teams.
These internal opportunities are designed to enable employees in all positions throughout the agency to develop the skills and expertise that promote continued success in their career paths.
Periodically, external training opportunities in topics of importance to our staff will also be posted, along with special opportunities that may be of interest to particular employees or job roles.
